Rev. Edward B. Costilow was born December 23, 1926 at Mexia, Texas to Samuel James Costilow and Carrie Martha Brown Costilow. He passed away on December 22, 2018 at Denison, Texas at the age of 91.

Eddie attended public schools in Mexia, Whitehouse and Tyler High School. He later attended Paris Junior College, Tyler Commercial College and Cherien Business College in Beaumont, Texas. Rev. Costilow was an ordained Full Gospel Pentecostal Minister and Evangelist since February, 1962. He was ordained with the National Revival Center Fellowship of Tyler and member of the National Revival Temple Church. Rev. Costilow minstered throughout the entire United States as an Evangelist since February 1962.

He also owned an operated G & C Construction for over 30 years. He served his nation in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a lifetime member of the D.A.V.

He is survived by his daughters, Brenda Hill and husband Larry of Tyler, Cheryl Sanders and husband Bobby of Starrville; son, Mike Costilow and wife Donna; eight grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; one great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife Melba Joyce Woodson Costilow.

Interment will be at Rosehill Cemetery, Bells, Texas. Dr. Bill Neal will officiate.
