November 4, 1947 –  October 18, 2015 Ronnie Carlton Gibbs went to be with his Lord on Saturday, October 18, 2015 with his family at his side. Ronnie was born November 4, 1947 in Bonham, Texas to Woodrow and Elizabeth Rigsby Gibbs.
Ronnie was the beloved husband of 45 years to Dorothy Cox. To this union they were blessed with 2 children Mark Carlton and Carrie Audleigh. Ronnie attended Ivanhoe schools and graduated from Sam Rayburn I.S.D. Ronnie was a longtime cattle buyer and previous owner/operator of Bonham Livestock Market. He passionately loved what he did and always considered his customers as his friend. He loved his grandchildren dearly; they made his heart smile- a life well lived, loved and filled with the reassurance that he belonged to our God. Ronnie was a member of Georgetown Baptist Church and formerly served as a Deacon of Elwood Baptist Church for many years. He is rejoicing today in God’s presence.

Funeral services for Ronnie will be at 11:00AM Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Georgetown Baptist Church. Brother Bobby Hancock will officiate and Mr. Chris Lovejoy will direct music. Interment will be at 3:00PM at Duplex Cemetery north of Bonham, Texas.

Ronnie’s family will receive friends from 6:00PM until 8:00PM on Tuesday at Mullican-Little Funeral Home in Bells/Savoy, Texas.

Ronnie is survived by his wife Dorothy Cox Gibbs of Pottsboro, son Mark Carlton Gibbs and his wife April of Elwood, daughter Carrie Audleigh Schiebe and her husband Charlie of Durant, Ok, grandchildren Reagan Elizabeth and Andy Carlton Gibbs, Ronnie Gage Gibbs Schiebe, Micha Dawn and Kinsley Diane Schieb, brothers Scott Gibbs and his wife Lana of Elwood, Lynn Gibbs and his wife Pam of Telephone and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law James Cox.

Pallbearers will be Mark Gibbs, Charlie Schiebe, Tony Nichols, Tony Brauner, Danny Lambert, Randy Henderson and Jeff Jeffers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ernie Hill and Alex Dumitru.
