Youida Maurene (Rusler) Weber, age 88, passed away from this earthly home February 28, 2018 in Denison, Texas and entered the gates of heaven. She was born on June 16, 1929 to William and Nellie (O’Bannon) Rusler in San Angelo, Texas.
At the age of 18, she married J. T. Heins in San Angelo. They began their life together and moved to Hico, Texas where they started their family of five children. They owned and operated a dairy farm until they decided to move to the “Big City”, the DFW metroplex. She worked most of her life there in retail while raising a family. J. T. passed away in October of 1973 after 25 years together.

She moved back to San Angelo where she met and married Nat Chaney in 1984. They shared many years together until his death in September 1998.

She married Robert H. Weber in April 2002. They resided in the Baptist retirement community in San Angelo until his passing in February, 2008.

After Robert’s death, she moved to Denison, Texas to be near her son, Marvin Heins. She became a member of First Baptist Church, Bells, Texas. She enjoyed shopping, especially at Wal-Mart, and taking care of her precious little dog, Angel.

In 2010, she became ill and was no longer able to maintain her house so she was one of the first residents to move into the new Beacon Hill nursing home. Although she had to give up her precious Angel, she made many new friends and thrived. In later years, her health declined due to Alzheimer’s, but she never lost her sassy and witty personality. She was loved and will be missed by so many. The Scripture that would describe this godly woman would be Proverbs 31:10-31. On our Sunday visits, phone calls to her sons Ross and Johnny were the highlights of her day.

She is survived by her sons, Marvin (Rhonda) Heins of Denison, Texas, Ross (Michelle) Heins of San Marcos, California and Johnny Heins of Sunset, Louisiana; grandchildren Jeff (Mary) Heins of Chandler, Arizona and Danny Heins of Longmont, Colorado, Dedra (Jon) Long of Gilbert, Arizona, Rosie Heins of Longmont, Colorado; great-grandchildren, Haley, Hannah, Shelby, Ellie, and Danielle. She became grandmother to extended family in Denison: Cheyenne (Ashley) Dorris, Laramie (Brooke) Dorris, Trisha Corbin, Chance (Jessica) Corbin and 14 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Nellie Rusler; spouses, J. T. Heins, Nat Chaney, and Robert Weber; son, Teddy Heins; sisters, Avis White, Yvonne Eubanks and brothers J. D., Lester, and Wayne Rusler.

There is no service planned at this time. According to her wishes, her body was cremated and her ashes along with the ashes of her late husband Robert Weber will be scattered in Big Bend National Park where they loved to go camping.

Thanks to the staff of Beacon Hill for your care of our mother since April 2011. She loved you all so much. Thank you also to Home Hospice of Grayson County for your care and support these last four weeks of her life.

Memorials may be made to Home Hospice Grayson County or Feed the Children fund at First Baptist Church Bells, Texas.
