Mildred Thelma Walkup passed away peacefully on September 8, 2023 in Keller, Texas at the age of 80. She was born to Merrell L. and Nadine E. (Fookes) Drummond on March 26, 1943 in Altadena, California.

Mildred known as Mickey by her family, married Leiland on September 3, 1960. They both worked hard, moving frequently, to provide for their family.

Mickey will be remembered as a strong, independent, self sufficient woman. Although her bluntness might shock, she will be remembered as always being ready to help and support whoever needed it.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nadine and Merrell Drummond; husband, Leiland Walkup; brother, Kenneth Drummond.

She is survived by her daughters, Teresa Howland and husband David, Lee Ann Mobley and husband Rex; grandchildren, Ashley Ecton and husband Brent, Loren Howland, Abigail Mobley, Alexandra Mobley, Mitchell Mobley; great grandchildren, Leiland Ecton, Harper Mobley; siblings, Elizabeth Pryor, Gayle Gibson and husband Glen, Roland Givens; along with many cousins, nephews, and nieces.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Mullican Little Funeral Home 754 State Hwy 56 E. Bells, Texas 75414. Graveside services will follow at 1:00 PM at Sunnyside Cemetery Savoy, Texas.
