Charles Ray Richey

Charles Ray Richey died on June 10, 2024 in Plano, Texas. He was born on February 27, 1961 to Raymond M. and Minnie L. (Buckaloo) Richey in Gainesville, Texas. Charles was a good man who absolutely loved and enjoyed his family. He was hard-working and provided for his family with a career in the oil field. Charles was known to be generous and dependable; he was always there for his loved ones. He also would help other people in need. Charles especially enjoyed livestock and raising chickens. He was preceded in death by his son, Johnny Ray Richey; parents, Raymond and Minnie; sisters, Brenda Ruble, and Jenny Gail Rogers; and brother, Johnny Richey. He survived by his daughters, Kathryn Edwards and fiancé William Howell and Amanda Marie James and husband Eric; son, Christopher Richey and Megean; stepdaughters, Rachel McDowell and husband Timothy, and Sherena Bennett; grandchildren, Jacquelyn Pinkston, Ezra Ray James and wife Jayla, Phillip Richey, Aaron, Ruby, and Marie McDowell, Ricky Vaillette, Novaeh Bennett, Wyatt Bennett; sister, Jeanette Nicols; girlfriend, Jennifer Lowman; and stepdaughter in law, Marie Johnson. Cremation arrangements are with Mullican Little Funeral Home.
