D. E. Hance
May 17, 1919 - June 18, 2007 Doc was a member of the First Baptis Church of Savoy where he and Marie had lived for more than 43 years. He owned and operated his own truck before retiring in 1981. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II serving in France and Germany. Doc fought in the Battle of the Bulge and was later taken as a Prisoner of War in Germany.
