Doris Jean (Phelps) Pedigo
July 27, 1960 ~ February 22, 2019
Doris Jean Pedigo went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at her home. Her loving family by her side. Doris was married to her husband Steve since high school. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and friend.
She leaves behind two sons, Ben Pedigo and wife Holly; Billy Pedigo and wife Stephanie; four grandchildren she loved more than life, Olivia, Gavyn, Jackson and Braylon; father and mother Nathan and Bernice Phelps; brother-in-law Joe Benny Pedigo and Vicky James her sister-in-law; sisters, Sherry Ballard, Toni Paveloff and husband Mark; numerous nieces and nephews, Blayne Ballard and Brianna Vasquez.
She was preceded in death by her father-in-law Wayne Pedigo; Charlie Coder; grandson, Ian Pedigo; grandparents, Aaron and Josie Copeland; sister-in-law Becky Pedigo.
Doris is loved and will be missed.
A funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at Mullican-Little Funeral Home, 754 State Hwy 56 East, Bells, Texas 75414. Family will receive friends for a visitation 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, February 25, 2019 at Mullican-Little Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Dripping Springs Cemetery.

Niecy and Sonny, Sherry and Toni. We are so shocked and saddened about Doris Jean. The last time we saw her she looks so healthy and happy going swimming with the grandkids. We will see you one of the two days maybe both of them. So so sorry. Love and prayers from Aunt Sandy and uncle Donnie.

Death brings pain that time can only heal, no words could ease what we truly feel; but with God, her joy is eternally sealed, and cherish her memories that death can’t even steal. Lift up a smile for she is already in the paradise. Our deepest condolences.

I am so sorry to hear this. She was a sweet person, who always had a smile on her face. I love the fact that no matter how long it had been since we had seen each other, it always seemed that it was just the other day. Doris was a very genuine person. It makes my heart sad to know that she is gone.

Doe was married to my cousin Steve most of her life. But, most of all they were also best friends and have always been there for each other. She will still be with us because of the boundless love she poured into her boys and her grandkids. She knew the value of time given for making wonderful memories as a family each and every day. Doris was a beautiful person inside and out!!!! All though she was younger, we were in Drill Team together and had lots of fun!!!!! She was one of the sweetest persons I have ever met and she had a love for life!!! Rest in Peace Doris, I will miss you!!!
