She enjoyed a fulfilling career at Texas Instruments, where she met the love of her life, Clyde King. The two married on February 14, 1969, and cherished more than 50 years of marriage together.
Dusta also worked with the Texas Council of Governments, always finding ways to serve her community. Dusta truly never met a stranger—her warmth and openness made her beloved by all who knew her.
A creative spirit, Dusta loved painting, tole painting, and stained glass. She found joy in traveling, embarking on adventures across the United States in an RV with a dear friend, making memories and sharing stories everywhere she went.
