Edward Alonzo Booe

Edward Alonzo Booe passed away peacefully on February 16, 2024 in Round Rock, Texas at the age of 80. He was born to Edna Earl and Eva Lena (Hess) Booe on May 3, 1943 in Bells, Texas. He proudly served in the United States Navy during Vietnam. He was a true patriot. He was a loving husband, father, uncle, and grandfather. Edward made friends easily. He was a voracious reader across a wide variety of interests. His love for travel was enlarged not only through the military but also later as a truck driver. He was an early adopter of information technologies. Edward was definitely a gadget guy! He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers and four sisters. He is survived by his wife, Connie Lenore Booe of Round Rock; son, Kevin Booe of Bells; stepson, Terry Don Murphy of Richardson; daughter, Kimberly Mary Jane Leanne Gosnell of Austin; son, Thomas Edward Ransom Booe of Tucson, Arizona; daughter, Bonnie Datiun of Guam; nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren; and sister, Gail Phillips of Denison. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Rose Hill Cemetery in Bells.
