Gary Wayne Green was born on July 15, 1945 in Leonard, Texas to Robert Green and Geraldine Stockton Green. He passed away at his home in Tom Bean, Texas surrounded by his family on October 24, 2021 at the age of 76 years.
Gary married Dorothy D’Ann Nehr on August 15, 1964 in Dallas, Texas. He was a life-long wood worker and carpenter. He worked for many years at UTSW and also UTD in the maintenance department. He was a member of the Baptist faith.
Gary is survived by his wife, D’Ann Green of Tom Bean; daughters, Becky Rhoden (Bryan) of Sherman, Annette Wooten (Murry) of Tulsa; son, Bruce Green (Meredith) of Van Alstyne; grandchildren, Emily Bradford (Deshauris), Ashley Linzy, Megan King (Ian); Tanner Rhoden (Kimberly), Austin Rhoden (Alex), Heather McAfee, and Branden Green; 6 great-granddaughters; 3 great-grandsons; and brother, Robert Harper of Ravenna. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bobby Rose, Danny Green, and Michael Harper; sister, Brenda Green Harris; and step-father, Jack Lawrence.
Funeral Services will be held 11am Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Mullican-Little Funeral Home, Bells, Texas. A visitation will be held 10am Thursday, October 28, 2021 at the funeral home. Private Interment will follow at Akers Cemetery, Sherman, Texas.
Instead of flowers, the family would prefer that you make memorial donations to your preferred charity.

Gary was a hard working carpenter. His wife D’Ann was his “right hand man” and what a team they were.. They enjoyed doing everything together.
