James J. Montgomery

August 11, 1936 -  August 18, 2011 James J. Montgomery of McKinney, Texas, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Medical Center of McKinney. James was born August 11, 1936 in Kress, Texas to Benny & Daisy (Chapman) Montgomery. He was preceded in death by parents; his wife, Jeneva; 6 brothers & sisters; & a step son. James served his country in the U.S. Navy, he was a machinist for U.S. Brass for 29 years and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his two sons, Mark & Montye; daughters, Dana Montgomery-Corona, Randella Montgomery & step-daughter, Elaine Burnside; 3 brothers: Jr., Billy & Paul Montgomery; 4 sisters: Bennie Dawson, Sally Bates, Janie Kelsey & Clara Thomas; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces & nephews. Graveside Services for Mr. Montgomery will be at 2:30 P.M., Sunday, August 21 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Whitewright with Reverend Houston Garner officiating.
