We are so sorry about Janet. My husband’s grandfather was AT McGuffey who was Belle McGuffey Head’s brother. I’ve only been in the family 7 years but Janet helped me so much with ancestry. We are lifting you all in prayer. May God give y’all extra peace as you walk this sad season.
Janet, I can’t believe you are gone already but I am happy you are with the Lord. I know he must have needed you. More with him. I am so glad some of our cousins got together for the only lunch at Blue Ridge. You looked so pretty that day. You were always a pretty woman. You will be missed terribly by your husband and children and grandchildren, etc. I just did not get to see you enough. My heart goes out to the family.

I was fortunate to know Janet from church, playing volleyball together in church league, teaching together at Savoy and in friendship. In any situation, her sweet spirit shone through, though she did have a competitive side in volleyball! I taught her children and grandchildren as well and her deep love for them was never in doubt. She will be missed not only by them, but anyone who knew her.
We are so sorry for your loss and our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time. Janet was a wonderful and gifted lady. I have never known someone who loved to bake as much as she did and she was always there for me whenever I needed a special cake or a pie for an occasion. She always had a beautiful smile on her face and was always happy to help her friends. She will be missed.
