Jessie Marie Wade

Jessie Marie Wade passed away at The Homestead of Sherman Nursing Home on March 30, 2024.
Jessie Marie was born on June 7, 1929 to Clarence and Lois Begner in Princeville, Illinois. In 1946, she met B. F. Wade from Savoy, Texas. After a courtship, they were united in marriage at the Methodist Church in Peoria, Illinois on June 17, 1947.
They relocated to Sherman in 1948. To this marriage four children were born; Jimmie Lee, Pamela Marie, Cynthia Diane, and Treasa Renee, all are deceased.
Jessie Marie was a LVN and worked at Wilson N. Jones Hospital and Medical Arts Clinic for Dr. Stout and Dr. Ellis. She retired after 30 years of nursing.
Marie and B.F. enjoyed many chapters in life, including raising and educating their children, camping out and extensive traveling with a group throughout the United States, Canada, and twice to Alaska. They enjoyed square dancing and clogging (at the Worldโs Fair), gambling, playing bingo, playing games with friends, and just sitting on the driveway and waving at the passing motorist.
She is survived by her husband of 76 years and 10 months; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
Jesse Marie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother. She was a very compassionate person, and she was loved by everyone.
Pallbearers will be Marvin Clay, Don Berry, Steve Barrett, James Carroll, Tim Green, Bill Caver. Funeral services will be held at Mullican Little Funeral Home 754 State Hwy. 56 E. Bells, Texas 75414. Visitation will be from 1 PM to 3 PM on Thursday, April 4, 2024 and services will be at 3 PM on Thursday, April 4, 2024 burial will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery, Savoy.

been a pleasure to be around. Going on seventy seven years of marriage, I don’t believe I know anybody else with such a high number of years. Again, my condolence๐๐๐๐๐๐!

Mr. Wade, so sorry for your loss. I met Mrs. Wade a couple times she was a sweet lady. Just know we are here for you. RIP lovely lady.
