Loyd Odell White

August 15, 1930 -  July 31, 2007 Mr. White attended Langley, Arkansas schools. He served in the U.S. Army's Corps of Engineers stationed in Okinawa, Japan during the Korean War. He attended barber college in Little Rock, Arkansas. He opened his barber shop in Bells in 1962 and had to close his shop due to illness after many years but still cut hair out of his house on a part time basis. Mr. White was an avid domino player and loved wood work even tutoring several youth with their projects for the Loy Lake wood working competition. He served as past Fire Marshal for the Bells VFD.
