Martha Lou Harvey

February 4, 1932 -  July 7, 2018 Martha Lou (Lambert) Harvey of Savoy, Texas passed away on July 7, 2018 at the age of 86. She was born on February 4, 1932 to Herman Lambert and Rosalie (Martin) Lambert in Amity, Arkansas. Martha had a very quick and active mind. She was always willing to help people, and nobody ever heard her utter a foul word. She was a sweet and easy-going lady who was considerate of others and kind to everyone she met. Martha was frugal and thrifty, she was shaped by her childhood, growing up in the Great Depression. Martha was an animal lover. She had two cats “Miss Kitty” and “Gray”, along with her dog “Miney”. Martha also loved cattle. She loved BBQ and potato salad. Martha is survived by her nephew James Lambert of Commerce, Texas; nephew Bill Sweetman of Denver, Colorado; niece Rose Lee Lambert of Wolfe City, Texas; cousins, Samuel Harvey of Savoy, Texas, Danny Harvey of Savoy, Roger Harvey of Savoy, Robbie Clinton of Bells, Texas; many extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Dale Lambert and sister Irene Sweetman. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Sweet Home Cemetery in Amity, Arkansas, State Hwy 346, Amity, AR 71921.
