Melvin William Pinson

August 12, 1932 -  July 27, 2016 ECTOR - Mr. Melvin William Pinson, 83 of Ector, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 in Savoy, Texas. Services for Melvin are set for 11:00 A.M., Saturday, July 30, 2016 at the Ector Horse Sale building on State Hwy. 56 west of Ector with Reverend Kevin Lane officiating. Burial will be at Hampton Cemetery at Edhube, Texas. The family will have a visitation at the Sale on Friday, from 6-7 P.M. Mr. Pinson was born August 12, 1932 in Dallas to parents, Herman I. Pinson and Ruth Mae (Tucker) Pinson. Melvin loved horses and anything to do with them. He was a Horse Trader and an Auctioneer.and worked rodeos in earlier years. He and his "Lady" Beverely attended the Bois D' Arc Creek Cowboy Church in Bonham. Beverely Miller; daughter, Gayle McCann; brother, Orval E. Pinson and two grandchildren survive him.
