Michael Lee Conner, also known as Mike, passed away on October 6, 2023, at the age of 68 in Denison, Texas. He was born on January 21, 1955, in Sherman, Texas. Mike was a kind-hearted individual who loved his family dearly. He was a "Mr. Fix It" and always had a story to tell. He never met a stranger and had a warm loving personality. Mike is survived by his loving wife of almost 50 years, Gwen Conner, his sons Michael Conner and wife Loni Conner of Bells, and Chris and wife Jennifer Conner of Waxahachie. He was a cherished grandfather to Matthew and Nathan Conner of Bells. Mike also leaves behind his faithful companion, his dog Lady Bug. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Alice and ML Conner, and his brother Jerry Conner. Mike attended Bells High School and had a passion for hunting, fishing, knife making, and watching his grandsons play sports. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and muscle cars especially the 1971 Mach 1 he used to own. Graveside services will be held on 11am Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at Hebron Baptist Cemetery, located at 655 Hebron Road, Bells, TX 75414. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hebron Baptist Church in memory of Mike Conner. Your contributions will be greatly appreciated. Please join the Conner family in honoring the life of Mike Conner and celebrating the memories they shared.

  3. I loved this family from a child. Wonderful people & of the greatest character. And characters they were, all of them. My heart is saddened at the loss of Mike but his family awaits him on the streets of gold. Mike was a true artisan & loved all animals. His heart of gold was present in all thing, especially his love for Gwen. Love you Mike.

  7. So sorry to hear the loss of Mike. Mike was a good friend of my brother, Danny, so I was around Mike quite often as a child. Mike even attended the Monkee’s Concert with us years ago. May God Bless this wonderful family. Hopefully the prayers of family and friends will comfort you at this time of sorrow.
