Timothy Jay Reynolds

Timothy Jay Reynolds of Seabrook, Texas, passed away on July 20, 2026, at the age of 76.

Tim was born on December 16, 1949, in Sherman, Texas, and graduated from Sherman High School. He then received his undergraduate degree in psychology at the University of Texas in Austin before earning Master’s degrees in both economics and government.

Tim dedicated more than 44 years of service to Alvin College (formerly Alvin Community College) in Alvin, Texas, where he served as a full-time Economics Instructor from 1981 until his retirement in 2025. Throughout his career, he built lasting friendships with colleagues and was deeply appreciated and respected by his students.

Tim was laid to rest in Rose Hill Cemetery in Bells, Texas, after a private family service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Leon Reynolds and Rapherd Ann (King) Reynolds of Sherman. He is survived by his brother, Elon Reynolds and wife Diane of McKinney, Texas.
