Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I was so very sorry to hear the sad news. Vera Kaye was our neighbor and we grew up playing with all the other neighbor kids. We used to climb, what we called the Fun Tree, which was really a Mulberry tree. We picked and ate Mulberries in the summer which also turned the bottom of our barefeet, blue. I don’t know if Billie ever knew but one day we opened all kinds of liquid soaps, perfumes, etc…and made a hand cleaner that we took to Mr Vickers garage so he would have a SPECIAL soap to clean his hands after fixing flat tires. Many childhood memories and into high school but am so glad that Vera or Priss, as we called her, had such a nice career and loving family. My sincerest condolences for the family.
