Walter Joseph Durney

March 18, 1930 -  April 9, 2015 – Mr. Walter Joseph Durney, 85 year old Whitewright resident, died at Wilson N. Jones Hospital in Sherman on Thursday, April 9, 2015. He was born March 18, 1930 in Camden, New Jersey to parents Reuben J. Durney and Ella Robinson. He married Elizabeth Booth on June 13, 1998. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was severely wounded while serving in Korea. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Pollan of Whitewright and his step-son Johnny Malone & wife Karla of Frisco. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Reuben Durney, Jr. Arrangements for Mr. Durney's cremation will be handled by Mullican-Little Funeral Home of Bells.
