Annette Kristin Radican passed away peacefully on February 5, 2022 in Sherman at the age of 61. She was born to James and Pat (Exum) Slagle on December 21, 1960 in Paris, Texas.
She enjoyed 20-year career as a Senior Legal Administrative Assistant for the City of Dallas attorney’s office. Annette was an excellent typist with a keen eye for detail. She was well received among her coworkers and respected for her work ethic.
Mostly, Annette loved her family. She adored her children, Ryan and Tara; and was especially crazy about her only grandchild, Madison. Annette was a great cook, making dishes from scratch and her family bragged on her spaghetti. She was a night owl, with her greatest energy and focus late at night; she talked about midnight meals with her Daddy. She was also a lover of her pets, many dogs and cats across the years and she really enjoyed Bindy her guard dog. Annette had an eclectic musical taste, from classical to rock, including blues and gospel. She was a wonderful pianist and playing gave her great pleasure.
She married Michael Radican on May 23, 2009 after several years of dating. They were well-suited, and were inseparable. They relished their time together and made a happy and contented life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Pat Slagle.
She is survived by her husband, Michael R. Radican; son, Ryan Basinger and wife Courtney and their daughter Madison “Maddie”; daughter, Tara Basinger and fiancé Ryan Manicom.
