Barbara Diane Sells, 64, of Ector, Texas passed away Tuesday evening, August 23, 2022, peacefully at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas.
Barbara was born on October 10, 1957 in Bonham, Texas to Shirley and Imogene (Call) Sells. She grew up on the farm with her family, and truly enjoyed the country lifestyle. Barbara was a 1976 graduate from Ector ISD. She started working at a young age for the Department of Veterans Affairs, and continued her career until she retired in 2019, with over 40 years of dedicated service. She had a passion for helping Veterans and was devoted to the VA’s Mission.
Barbara had a vibrant personality, and to know her was to love her. She never missed any activity that her son was involved in and was his biggest cheerleader. She was the life of the party and always had a houseful of kids. From teaching them how-to drive-in the pasture, to running them around to do fun activities, or just hanging at the house, she made everything fun. She enjoyed reading, doing yoga, having all her family together. She loved to work in the yard, and always had the prettiest flowers.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Imogene and Shirley Sells, and her son, Toby Hazelip.
Barbara is survived by her son, Dylan and Sara Anglin; granddaughter, Kyleigh Anglin, grand dog Bear Anglin; siblings, Richard and Sherrie Sells, Shirley Gene and Rande Jones, Betty and Kenny Burks. She had many nieces and nephews, Rande and Laurie Jones, Heather and Bo Harris, Mandy and Jerry Williams, Kristina and Nick Shahan, Mack and Jordan Sells, Kevin and Ariane Burks, along with great nieces and nephews, Nathan and Ally Harris, Mallori and Miranda Jones, Bradley and Jaelyn Williams, Rich and Maci Sells, and Colton Shahan.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 26, 2022 at Mullican-Little Funeral Home 754 State Hwy 56 E. Bells, Texas 75414 from 10 AM until service time. Funeral services for will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Mullican-Little Funeral Home. Pastor Morris Cook will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a non-profit Veterans organization in honor of Barbara.

I was surprised when I heard about Barbara. She was a great friend from work. I will miss her dearly. I would just call her out of the blue to see what was going on. Praying for your family during this time of loss but remember she will live on forever.

I have no words. I have loved Barb for a long time. I name my daughter Tobi after her little boy she lost. I worked with her during that pregnancy and loved for her to bring Tob Tob pics to work. Dylan, the love she had for you was always known bc she lite up just being in your presence. My Sells family I love you all and my heart is heavy!
So very, deeply sorry for your loss. Last night, hearing that she had passed was a tremendous shock. It is just incomprehensible. God now has another wonderful angel at his side.

Have really missed her since she retired from the VA. She was always helpful. If you needed to know something or who to contact at the Bonham VA Barbara knew. She was awesome!

I can remember when Barbra started at the VA right out of high school. She was always a delightful person to be around and heaven will be a little sweeter that she is there. I will miss her shining face and beautiful smile and her kindness to others.
