November 14, 1928 –  March 20, 2012 Mr. Bob Stricklen, 83 year old Ector resident, died Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at Red River Regional Hospital in Bonham. Bob was born November 14, 1928 in Ector, Texas to parents, Chlofus G. and Alice (Kemp) Stricklen. He married Mildred Duckworth on December 19, 1953 at the Ector Baptist Church.Mr. Stricklen was a member of the Ector Baptist Church, graduated from Ector High School, served his country for one year in the United States Navy and two years in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a Carpenter by trade and a real life Cowboy who enjoyed riding his horses with friends.
Bob is survived by his wife, Mildred of Dallas; son Rodney Stricklen of Dallas; daughter and her husband, Danna and Jeffrey Allen of Dallas; and one grandchild, Teal Evelyn Allen.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M., Friday at the chapel with Reverend Morris Cook officiating. Burial will be at Carson Cemetery.
The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service on Friday.
