November 21, 1949 –  December 18, 2014 Charles Drake Snyder, 65 year old Denison resident died at his home on Thursday, December 18, 2014. Charles was a loving father, grandfather and husband. He was a selfless and kind father. He was a Marine everyday of his life. He left his mark in this world on those he loved, and who loved him and they will miss him greatly.
Charles was born November 21, 1949 to parents Charles Nelson Snyder and Josephine Eleanor (Drakley) Snyder in Atchinson, Kansas. He was a retired Manager for Proctor and Gamble Company, and served three tours in Viet Nam. He loved being a father, husband, grandfather, and a Marine.

Charles is survived by his wife, June of Denison; two sons, Charles Eric Snyder of Rowlett, TX and John Drake Snyder and his wife Takae of Edgewater, New Jersey; one daughter, Callie Snyder of Denison; sister, Jodi Chapman of Ennis, TX; and five grandchildren, Jacob Ryan Snyder, Ethan Paul Snyder, Matthew Drake Snyder, Katelyn Paige Snyder and Kirstin Kate Snyder.

The family will receive friends at the Mullican-Little Chapel from 5:00-6:30 P.M., Friday, December 19, 2014. Funeral services for Charles are set for 2:00 P.M., Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the Mullican-Little Funeral Chapel in Bells with a Marine Corp Honor Guard at Cherry Mound Cemetery in Denison immediately following the chapel service. Reverend Bill Neal, Jr. will conduct the service. Instead of honoring Charles with flowers, the family suggest that you honor him by donating to the Wounded Warriors Fund.
