February 24, 1971 –  November 22, 2014 Alfred “Cody” Hugh McCollum, age 43, of Whitewright, TX passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at TMC Hospital in Denison.
Cody was born in Sherman, February 24, 1971 to Cecil and Corena Meade Kirkwood. He married Erin Vaughan June 6, 1997.

Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Kings Trail Cowboy south of Whitewright, TX. Reverend Jason Norton and Reverend Frank Rahm will officiate. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Cody’s family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 24, 2014 at Mullican-Little Funeral Home.

Cody graduated from Achille High School and attended Southeastern Oklahoma State College on a roping scholarship. He was a rancher and owner of Flying M Ranch. He enjoyed working cattle, riding horses and playing with his girls.

Cody is survived by his wife Erin McCollum of Whitewright. daughters Crista and Bailey McCollum of Whitewright, sister Sharon Motley of LaRue, TX, two nephews Jared and Marshall Motley, his father and mother-in-law Gerald and Madelyn Vaughan.
