February 9, 1993 –  November 15, 2011 Funeral Services for Cody Michael McMorris, 18 year old Savoy resident, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the Savoy High School Gymnasium at Savoy, Texas. Reverend Virgil Cornwell will officiate the services. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery, Bells, Texas.
Cody died Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at a Dallas hospital, due to complications from an auto accident three weeks ago.

Cody graduated from Savoy High School in June of 2011 and worked at Just Brakes as an Assistant Manager. He was a wonderful son, brother, grandson, newphew, cousin and friend. he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Cody was born February 9, 1993 at Denison to parents, Mike McMorris and Carie (Peacock) McMorris. He is survived by his parents; brother, Cory McMorris; Grandmothers, Flo Peacock and Joyce McMorris; aunts and uncles, Lawana and Kevin Gourley, Randy and Rhonda Peacock, Billy Peacock, Michael Peacock, Paula and the late Roy Kuykendall, Kenny and Mary Lou Kimbrell and many cousins & friends. He was preceded in death by Great Grandparents, Ellis and Levona Kinnamon; Grandfathers, Ace McMorris and Robert Dean Peacock.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, November 18, 2011.
