Deborah Kay Price

January 4, 1957 - March 2, 2019

Deborah Kay Price of Ambrose, Texas passed away on March 2, 2019 at age of 62.  She was born on January 4, 1957 in Ambrose, Texas to Eugene Clinton Freeman, Sr. and Thelma Geneva Freeman (Hannah).  Deborah was a graduate of Bells High School in the class of 1976.  After graduation, she enlisted in the United States Navy and served stateside for four years.  Once Deborah left the Navy, she married and started a family.  She worked for many years at Texas Power and Light and in her later years was a caregiver.  Debbie was a ray of sunshine and valued a happy home.  She was a loyal friend with the ability to approach and speak to anyone with genuine warmth and care.  Debbie loved to garden and was very blessed to grow up on the family farm.  She was known for her good cooking, was a generous host and will be missed by all who knew her.

Debbie is survived by her children, Wayne Holman and wife Lessley of Grenada, Mississippi, Angel Ruder and husband Lance of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Hannah Ricketts of Galveston, Texas; Brothers, Eugene Freeman of Stockton, California, Steve Freeman of Denison, Texas, Alvin Freeman of Pottsboro, Texas, and Mikey Freeman of Beauford, South Carolina; Sisters, Sharon Scott, of Denison, Texas and Kay Freeman of Sherman, Texas; she is also survived by many other loving extended family members and friends.

      Thank you so much for your kind words Mrs. Westbrook. I really just wanted to see my mom this morning, so I Googled her name. I don’t know why I do that every now and then, I think sometimes I think she might be somewhere else where I can get in touch with her. It really touched my heart to see you caring about me here thank you so much

    I am very sorry for your loss. Debbie and I were good friends for many years. I’ve thought of her a lot in the past few years. We had so much fun growing up. Ambrose was cool back then. My prayers for your family.

      I feel like I lost my very best friend. My world is not the same! I remember that we were both in the garden with her dad, he was telling us what to do. She was better at the picking than me. I was slow .we took the bus to school every day. She was so incredibly sweet and smart. I envid her..
