February 6, 1930 –  February 6, 2013 Funeral services are set for Eva Nell Bausell, Savoy resident who passed away on her 83rd birthday. Eva was born on February 6, 1930 in Ector, Texas to parents David H. Malone and Eunice Amlin Malone. She passed away on February 6, 2013 at the Homestead of Sherman.
She married Lonnie Joseph Bausell in 1950 and they shared their lives for over 60 years. She was a faithful marriage partner to Lonnie and they worked together pastoring churches for 42 years. Their first church was in 1950 at the Savoy United Pentecostal Church and they continued their work together until 1992, with their last church being in Memphis, Texas. Eva worked at Texas Instruments, was a pastor’s wife, was an excellent seamstress, and enjoyed working in her garden. Eva was an awesome cook and she loved cooking for her family and they have wonderful memories of her sharing her love through her cooking.

Eva is survived by two sons and their wives, Dennis and Michele Bausell of Savoy, Nathan and CarolynBausell of Iowa Park; a daughter and son-in-law, Annette and Dale Mauck of Sherman; siblings, Harold Malone of Dallas, Frank Malone and wife Barbara of Royse City, Paul Malone of Mesquite, Elizabeth Ann Malone of Sherman, Delilah and Donnie Miller of Lancaster and Lynn and James Watson of Hurst; 10 grandchildren, Shawnna and Stacy Rice, Jason and Narissa Bausell, Ben Bausell, Jon Bausell, Mistie and Eric Cooley, Joel Bausell, Eric and Jennifer Mauck, Jared and Liz Mauck, Shelly and Paul Hicks and Sheila and Nathan Lovell; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Those serving as pallbearers are Eric Mauck, Jason Bausell, Joel Bausell, Ben Bausell, Dale Mauck, and Nathan Lovell.

The family has made arrangements to honor Eva with a funeral service at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the Savoy United Pentecostal Church with Reverend Virgil Cornwell, Reverend Floyd Flowers and Reverend Gordon Winslow officiating. Burial will be at Sunnyside Cemetery in Savoy. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M., Friday night at the church.
