June 4, 1930 –  December 20, 2016 Memorial services for Georgia Mae Nelms will be held at 11:00AM Thursday at the Trinity Baptist Church in Bonham, Texas. Reverend Henry Shelton and Reverend Morris Robbins will officiate.
Georgia passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at her residence North of Ector. She was born June 4, 1930 in Bailey, Texas to Joseph and Lovie Turner Sudderth. She married Mack Nelms on February 22, 2007.

Georgia was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and a graduate of Bailey High School. She retired as a Food Service Manager for the Wolfe City I.S.D.

Georgia is survived by her husband Mack Nelms of Bonham, daughters Cheryl Halliburton and husband Daulton of Cedar Park, Judy Julian of Stephenville, Janice Norwood and husband David of Clyde and Charlcene Walker of Whitewright, step-sons Toby Lee Nelms and wife Linda, Audie Mack Nelms and wife Wanda and Bo Nelms and wife Jan, step-daughters Sheran Sweetin and husband Mickey, Dollie Eva Stark and husband Craig and Melissa Sue Nelms, sisters Betty Mile of Hico and Mary Simmons of Bailey and numerous step-children, grand children, great grand children, great great grand children totaling over 96 kids.

She was preceded in death by husbands Alvis Swinney, Jack Brown, and David Simmons, daughter June Henry, granddaughter Gayla Holbrook and son-in-law David Julian, and brothers Joe and Bill Sudderth.
