Heather Ann McTigue passed away peacefully in Savoy, Texas on June 28, 2021 at the age of 55. She was the daughter of Dennis Lee Allen and Patricia Kay Allen, born on January 7, 1966. She married David Alan McTigue on June 6, 2007.
Heather’s greatest joy was her family, she was affectionally known as Granny. She adored her grandchildren, and was actively involved in their lives, providing child care, and going to sporting events. She loved being a wife to David and watching movies together. She loved cooking family dinners and thoroughly enjoyed having everybody around her. She treasured their times together. She was also as ardent fisherman and frequently fished at Texoma and Bonham State Park. Heather loved a bargain and going to yard sales was a passion. She was a warm, loving and caring lady that enjoyed people.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Kay Allen; grandparents, Harry Francis and Martha Ann Letchworth; aunt, Rosalie Ann Letchworth; uncle, Francis Lee Letchworth.
She is survived by her husband, David Alan McTigue; son, Luther Lee Hammon IV and wife Lavina Glass; daughters, Erica Marie Pendleton and Jessica Renee Phea; grandchildren, Luther Lee Hammon V, Dathan Glass, Clarisa Glass, Kadin Cole Lappin, Kinslee Skye Pendleton, Christian Andre Moore, Channing Andraya Moore; father, Dennis Allen and wife Carletta; sister, Jennifer Lynn Russell and husband Darryl; brother Dennis Allen, Jr.; sister, Tina Allen; brother, Scott Allen and wife Myndee; brother, Austin Allen and wife Hailey; uncle, George Alan Letchworth, 17 nieces and nephews, along with an extended family and friends.

So sorry for you lose. Uncle Randy and Aunt Debbie are praying for GOD’s comfort to be with you at this time. It is never easy in time of lose, it will take a long time to accept your lose but, keep faith that you will be back together in the end.
Heather will be greatly missed. So sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful woman. She was a second mom to a lot of us growing up.
