January 17, 1938 – June 30, 2015 Jack White, age 77, of Ector passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Jack was born January 17, 1938 in Trenton, Texas to Jessie and Maruine McMillin White. On August 25, 1956 he married Virginia Monk in Savoy, Texas.
Funeral services for Jack will be 2:00PM Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Mullican-Little Funeral Chapel. Mr. Alan Monk and Mr. Marlon Cole will officiate. Burial will follow in Carson Cemetery.
Jack was owner and operator of Bill’s Auto Salvage in Denison, Texas since 1976. He attended the Ector United Methodist Church and graduated from Ector High School. Jack loved to ride 4-wheelers and go to dirt track races. Jack had an enormous love for his grand children and great grandchildren. He loved the farm and taking care of his cattle.
Jack is survived by his wife Jenny of Ector, sons Bill White and his wife Karen and Jeff White and his wife Holly all of Ector, daughter Sherrie Sells and her husband Richard of Ector, sisters Judy Newell and her husband Sweet Pea of Ector, Jeanette Nichols and her husband Butch of Edhube, and Kay Ritchie and her husband Kenneth of Bells, half brother Jayson White of Ector and step-mother Fran White of Ector, grandchildren Heather and Bo Harris, Mandy and Jerry Williams, Mack and Jordan Sells, Natalie and Darl Garrison, Valerie and Josh Brown, Billy Jack and Kristina White, Rodney and Amanda White, Justin and Linday White and great grandchildren Nathan and Ally Harris, Bradley and Jaelyn Williams, Aly, Addy and Gracie Garrison, Sophie, Olivia and Gage Brown and Hudsyn White. Jack was preceded in death by his parents and half-brother J. J. White.
The family will receive friends from 6:00PM until 8:00PM Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Rodney White, Justin White, Mack Sells, Jerry Williams, Bo Harris, Josh Brown, Darl Garrison and B. J. White.
