October 24, 1922 –  April 6, 2011 James Edward Barry was bon October 24, 1922 in Bonham, TX. to parents, Nat & Myrtle (Adams) Barry. He passed away April 6, 2011 at StoneBrook Assisted Living in Denison, TX.
James married Elsie Bush on August 7, 1943 in Ector, TX. having known her since he was five years old as they had been raised on neighboring farms between Ector and Randolph.

He worked at Pool Manufacturing in Sherman for 14 years and then he and Elsie moved to Garland where he worked at Telsco Industries for 24 years. He retired in October 1985. He and Elsie moved to Bells in 1996. He enjoyed RV camping, especially sitting around the campfire with family and friends, and going to Blue Grass, Country & Gospel Music Festivals. He enjoyed traveling, having visited every state in the United States except Alaska. He also enjoyed gardening and had the best kept lawn in the neighborhood.

James always had a smile on his face and was a joy to be around. He was a member of Bells United Methodist Church.

James is survived by his wife, and several nieces & nephews.

The family will receive visitors from 7-8 P.M. on Friday night at the Funeral Home.

Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Mullican-Little Funeral Chapel in Bells with interment at Carson Cemetery at Ector.
