Jean Ann Martin passed away peacefully in Denison, Texas on January 24, 2021 at the age of 78. She was born in Garfield, Arkansas to Oren S. Dressler and Erma Olive (Sweet) on August 3, 1942.
Jean met her future husband, Frankie while she was working at the commissary at Altus Air Force Base in Altus, Oklahoma in 1958. They were married on October 10, 1960 in Altus. They were blessed with two daughters, LeeAnn and Vicki Lynn.
Jean leaves a legacy of children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of whom she loved, and whom she taught to love Jesus. She was a passionate Christian who loved to share Jesus and was a faithful member of Dixie Baptist Church in Whitesboro, Texas. She had an infectious sense of humor who always greeted you with a joke-especially jokes including Earl and Nadine!
Jean was an avid card player and loved playing with family and friends. No one would ever leave her home hungry, she made sure everyone was fed.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Oren and Erma Dressler; siblings, Joyce Thompson, Lewis Dressler, Charles Dressler, Mary May, Sylvia Tull; and son in law, Billy Montgomery.
She is survived by her husband, Frankie Lee Martin; daughters, LeeAnn Montgomery and husband Shawn, Vicki Binkley and husband Kenneth all of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Amanda Geist and husband Brian of Sherman, Kristi Frith and husband Albert, Joshua Binkley and fiancé GerryAnne Umpierre all of Oklahoma City, Christopher Binkley and wife Jillian of Guthrie, Oklahoma, Rochelle Binkley of Wilmington, North Carolina, Jahshua Binkley of El Paso, Texas, Valerie Jones of North Port, Florida; great-grandchildren, Dakota Golden, Makenzie Williams, Dustin Frith, Stryder Binkley, Miranda Binkley, plus ten bonus great grandchildren; sister, Bertha Case of Perkins, Oklahoma; brother, Wayne Dressler and wife Pame of Rawlins, Wyoming; and sisters in law Barbara Cassidy, Brenda Gates, and Joy Marlow; along with bonus daughters, Cheryl Gilliam and Deanna Fri and numerous extended family.
A “come and go” visitation will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 6-8:00PM at Mullican Little Funeral Home Chapel 754 State Hwy 56 E. Bells, Texas 75414. A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 2:00PM at Mullican Little Funeral Home Chapel. Due to Covid-19, masks will be required at the visitation and funeral service. Social distancing is requested.
