Jennifer Joyce Lewis, 58, of Savoy, Texas passed away Wednesday August 24, 2022 surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer.
Jennifer was born on January 24, 1964 in Sherman, Texas to Jimmy Lee Reynolds, Sr. and Melba Joyce (Madison) Reynolds. She grew up in the town of Savoy and was a graduate of Savoy High School, class of 1982. She married Terry Lewis of Whitewright, Texas on June 22, 1984. She began working at Cigna and continued her career until her retirement in 2020 with 38 years of service. She had a passion for advocating and managing her team and customers to ensure the best for everyone.
Jennifer was a woman of many titles with a steadfast love for everyone in her family. She had strong values that came from her faith in Jesus Christ. She was honest in all matters, standing for the truth. Jennifer was the glue of her family. She enjoyed dancing the night away with her husband and family members, supporting everyone’s activities, from recitals to sports, or partaking in a Girls Road Trip. On weekends, you could find her playing games with her family around the table drinking a pot of coffee.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Walter Preston and Mary O’Dale Madison, Buster and Mildred Reynolds; her father, Jimmy Lee Reynolds, Sr. and brother, Jerry Don Reynolds.
Jennifer is survived by her husband, Terry Lewis of Savoy; sons, Terry Don Lewis and wife Samantha of Fate, Texas and Dr. Matthew Lewis of Sherman; daughters, Jessica Dunlap and husband Taylor of Sherman and Amber Lewis of McKinney. Grandchildren, Charlette Marie Lewis and Cora Renae Dunlap; siblings, Jimmy Lee Reynolds, Jr. of Savoy, Cathy Rhudy and husband Kenneth of Ector, and Jackie Reynolds and wife Sherry of Savoy; and many nieces, nephews, and exteneded family.
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022 at 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Mullican Little Funeral Home 754 State Hwy 56 E. Bells, Texas 75414. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Savoy First Baptist Church 207 S. Ashford Street Savoy, Texas 75479. Burial will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery.

What a great loss to all of us. We loved Jennifer and her sweet family. My dad thought you were all very special. Wish we could be there but out our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. She is sheltered in the arms of God.
