Jeramie David Sweet was healed by our mighty God with his eternal reward on Monday, July 10, 2023. He was born on February 3, 1978 to David and Beverly Roxanne (Yert) Sweet.  He married the love of his life, Robin Woodson Sweet on May 7, 2010 in Sherman, Texas.  Together they enjoyed their two sweet little dogs, Shelby and Aly.

Jeramie lived a life serving others as a Registered Nurse for Baylor McKinney – ICU and preached the gospel for the Church of Christ in Savoy over fourteen years.  He graduated from Brown Trail School of Preaching and later Grayson College of Nursing with his RN, BSN. Jeramie brought pure joy to everyone he encountered at church, in the community, and the bedside of countless patients. He committed his life to encouraging others to draw closer to God through his many talents. He loved to fish, travel, and cook BBQ at home with his dogs Shelby and Aly. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching the Andy Griffith Show and football.

Jeramie is survived by his wife, Robin Woodson Sweet of Savoy; father, David Sweet (Jennifer) of Denison; brother, Braden Sweet (Peggy) of Denison; sister, Rhianne Dickison (Daniel) of Savoy; brother, Connor Sweet of Denison; niece, Madelynn Dickison of Savoy; and numerous loved ones and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Roxanne Sweet; grandparents, Albert Gregory and Nora Louise Yert of Denison, Hubert and Susie Sweet of Savoy, and Clarence Leon Short and Mary Margaret Short of Pottsboro.

Though our hearts will be empty, his influence of the gospel and selfless service will continue to impact others for generations to come. In his memory, share the love of Jesus with someone, encourage someone in their time of need, and be a champion for Jeramie.
