July 3, 1938 –  February 16, 2013 Jerry Armstrong left us to begin his walk in heaven on February 16, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. Jerry was born July 3, 1938 in Brookston, Texas the son of Clyde and Frances Cornett Armstrong. He married Georgia Ann Prim on July 27, 1963 in Garland, Texas.
Jerry served 8 years in the Army National Guard and graduated from Bailey High School. He retired from the print shop for the City of Garland, Texas.

Jerry is survived by his wife Georgia Ann Armstrong of Paris, sons Adam Armstrong and his wife Marina of Dallas and Cody McCollum and his wife Erin of Whitewright, daughter Sharon Motley of LaRue, TX, brother David Armstrong and his wife Shirley of Sherman, sisters Kathy Sams and her husband Donnie of Ector and Becky Moore and her husband Wayne of Ravenna, 7 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his step-father Benard Slim Sanders, brothers Clyde and Billy Armstrong, and sister Paula Irby.

Funeral services will be 11:00AM Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Mullican-Little Funeral Chapel in Bells/Savoy, Texas. Reverends Harold and Jay Smith will officiate. Interment will follow in Little Jordan Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4:00PM until 8:00PM Monday, February 18, 2013 at the funeral home.
