January 21, 1941 –  March 2, 2010 Bud moved with his family to Honolulu, Hawaii when Bud was seven years old. He lived there until he joined the U.S. Army in 1961. While stationed in Abilene, Texas he met and married Annette Browning on July 10, 1965. Bud was a member of First Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was active in the Savoy community serving on the city council and as mayor. He was also a member of the Savoy Fire Department. He was a retired service representative with IBM.
