Kenneth Wayne Price of Honey Grove, Texas passed away peacefully on January 17, 2021 at the age of 79 at Paris Regional Hospital in Paris, Texas. Kenneth was born on November 16, 1941 to Kenneth Bart Price and Kathalene Sharp Price in Savoy, Texas. He was the second oldest of seven children and the oldest son.

He proudly served his country in the Air Force for four years just prior to the Vietnam war. While stationed in Little Rock, Arkansas he met and married Betty Taylor on February 23, 1962 in Pulaski county, Arkansas. They were married almost 48 years till her death on January 14, 2010. They were blessed with three sons, Kenneth Brett Price, Phillip Heath Price, and Gary Wayne Price.

After his discharge from the military, the family moved to Texas. While living in Savoy, Kenneth began his almost 20-year career with the Missouri, Kansas, and Texas Railroad (Katy RR). The family later moved to Honey Grove where they raised their boys.

He was a hard-working man who taught his sons the value of honest work by raising crops and cutting wood. Kenneth had an innate mechanic ability. He was a loving and responsible family man. Kenneth loved and adored his wife Betty. His work ethic was from his desire to provide a living for his family.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Taylor; his parents, Kenneth and Kathalene; his siblings, Margie Ball, Jim Price, Billy Don Price, and Mark Price.

He is survived by his sons, Brett Price and wife Monica of Reno, Texas, Phillip Price and wife Ashley of Ravenna, Texas, Gary Price and wife Hannah of Honey Grove, Texas; granddaughters, Miranda Knapp and husband Chris, Mallory Hess and husband Gabriel, Morganne Price, Avonlea Price; grandsons, Kenneth Price, Kaleb Price and wife Elizabeth, Jacob Price, Ethan Price, Sawyer Price, Ayden Price, Maddox Price, Asher Price; five great grandchildren, Maddie, Connor, Waylon, Andrick, and  Brinton; brothers, David Lee Price of Savoy and Tommie Price and wife Virginia of Oklahoma.

A “come and go” visitation will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 6-8 pm at Mullican Little Funeral Home Chapel 754 State Hwy 56 E. Bells, Texas 75414. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 11am in Mullican Little Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Ravenna, Texas. Due to Covid-19, masks will be required at the visitation and the service. Social distancing is requested.
