Kyle Kelsey was born October 10, 1974 in Hollis, Oklahoma to Bobby Joe Spencer and Debra Biggs, the second born of four sons. Later, he was adopted by James Kelsey.

Kyle had a musical soul, often singing wherever the mood struck him. It was said of him that as a three year old he was singing with enthusiastic gusto, “You Light Up My Life”, while in the shower. He won a singing contest with all expenses paid trip to Nashville; the runner up was his cousin Chad Montgomery, but Kyle gave the prize trip to him. As an adult, he owned a karaoke business playing for weddings, parties, and special events. Kyle was a man who took responsibility for his life and his choices striving to be better and encouraged other people to be their best.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Brian Joseph Spencer; father, Bobby Joe Spencer; grandparents, Luther Martin Biggs and Etta Mae (Love) Biggs, Pauline (O’Neal) Spencer and M.C. Spencer, Lillie Bell Kelsey and Tom Emil Kelsey; and several aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his parents, Debra Kelsey and James Kelsey; brothers, Ricky Kelsey and David Kelsey; sons, Keeton Morris and Kyler Kelsey and wife Cierra; four grandchildren; and an extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
