April 29, 1934 – May 10, 2012 Margie was the daughter of Clyde & Octavene Riley Henslee. She had five brothers and one sister, all reared during the Great Depression. Their upbringing was meager, giving her an honest appreciation for life and camaraderie. On November 29, 1952 she married Weldon “Art” Arthur, and together they started a family business, “Art’s Saddle Shop”, now in operation for more than 40 years. She worked long after-hours making trophies, assisting with shop matters, and tending to traditional household responsibilities. At the age of 30, she and Weldon were blessed with a son, Art Arthur, their pride and joy. Margie was a pleasant soul, extremely generous and kind. She was wise beyond her time and generation. She held her family with the utmost importance and would do anything for her loved ones and friends. Margie thought one of her greatest legacies was her great-grandchildren, whom she devoted much of her time and thoughts to. She gave to those who needed it and was always there to lend a caring hand and understanding ear.
