January 19, 1949 –  March 3, 2013 Funeral services for Ruthie Stowe will be 2:00PM at Mullican-Little Funeral Chapel in Bells/Savoy, Texas on Wednesday, March 6, 2013. Reverend Dalton Jaco of the Whitewright Church of God will officiate. Interment will be in Whitewright City Cemetery.
Ruthie passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Mullican Care Center in Savoy, Texas surrounded by her family. She was born January 19, 1949 in Dimmit, Texas the daughter of Albert and Martha Bowers Lewis. She married Freddie Joe Stowe.

Ruthie was a homemaker and a Baptist. She graduated from Bennington High School in Bennington, Oklahoma.

Ruthie is survived by her husband Freddie Stowe of Whitewright, daughter Laura Stowe and Juan Huerta of Bonham and daughter Kathy Stowe and Martinous Bateman of Bonham, brother John Lewis of Whitewright, sisters Judy Bryant and her husband Lloyd of Whitewright, Janie Thompson and her husband Marvin of Springtown, Kay Cochran and her husband Charlie of Cowarts, Alabama, grandchildren Stormy Stowe, Ashley Huerta, Cheyenne Bateman, and Shayla Bateman. She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will be at their home in Whitewright at all times before the service on Wednesday.
