March 9, 1923 – January 31, 2015 Our beloved mother, Mary Celine Heath, passed away peacefully at Beacon Hill on Saturday, January 31, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.
Mary, a God loving woman, was born March 9, 1923 in Cooper Texas. She, along with her husband raised a family down in the Rio Grande Valley, East Texas and then, settled in Dallas Texas with their eight sons and one daughter. She worked as a file clerk for Baylor Hospital for many years and moved to Bells Texas after her retirement. She also taught Sunday School for many years and shared her love of Jesus with all she met.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Monger Heath, her parents, Julia Alice Fletcher and Herbert Houston Anglin, her son, Woodson Heath Sr., two brothers and four sisters, two daughter-in-laws, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her sister, Martha Hawkins, her children, James “Jimmy” Thomas Heath (Carol), Ned Heath (Mary), Danny Heath (Marla), William “Bill” Heath (Christine), Dan Heath Jr., Mary Biggers (William “Buddy”), James Lloyd Heath (Teresa), Ronnie Heath (Michelle), daughter-in-law Glenda Heath, 23 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Ned F. Heath, Tye Heath, William “Bud” Biggers II, William Heath II, Jordan Heath, Chris Donahue and Dallas Heath.
The family will receive visitors at Mullican-Little Funeral Home on Sunday, Feb 1 from 2-4. Service of Christian Burial will be at First Baptist Church of Bells on Monday, Feb 2 at 10 am. Interment will follow at Grove Hill Cemetery, 4118 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, Texas at 3pm.
