Rosellen “Rosie” Brogdon went home to be with the Lord on June 7, 2023, at the age of 92. She was the oldest of 6 children born to Cena and Frank Armstrong on March 17, 1931. She married her husband, Coy Lee Brogdon, on December 25, 1948. Together, they had three children; Eddie, Barbara, and James Roy.

Rosie loved fishing, crochet, reading, card games, and dice. She would “fix” the best meals from scratch, and enjoyed serving them to family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Coy Lee; son, Eddie Lee; brothers, Clarence Armstrong, Franklin D. Armstrong, Matt Armstrong, Jesse “J.O.” Armstrong; and sister, Betty Molder.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Cantrell and son-in-law Douglas Cantrell; son, James Roy Brogdon and daughter-in-law Raquel Brogdon;daughter in law, Rhonda Brogdon Williams; sister in laws, Sandy Armstrong and Lorene Armstrong; grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Mullican Little Funeral Home 754 State Hwy 56 E. Bells, Texas 75414.
