July 19, 1930 –  September 19, 2013 Thomas Ray Lucas 83 year old resident of Bonham, passed away at the Red River Regional Hospital in Bonham, on Thursday, September 19, 2013.Funeral Services for Mr. Lucas are set for 3:00 P.M, Saturday, September 21, 2013 at the Mullican-Little Funeral Chapel in Bells with burial at Rose Hill Cemetery in Bells. Reverend Houston Garner will officiate.

The family will greet friends for an hour prior to the service from 2-3:00 P.M.

Those serving as Pallbearers for Thomas are Gene Lucas, Cody Lucas, David Haliburton, John Woodson, Oscar Elk and Thomas Ford.

Mr. Lucas was a 1949 graduate of Bells High School, he served his country in the US Marine Corp, serving in Viet Nam, and was a mechanic for AmTrac for many years. He was a Baptist by faith.

Thomas was born July 19, 1930 in Leonard, Texas to parents, Wesley I. Lucas and Allie Mae Murray Lucas.

He is survived by his two sons, John Lucas and wife Donna of Whitewright, Mike Lucas and wife Joy of Bells; daughter, Terri Grosh and husband Steve of Richardson, TX; and brother, Billy Lucas and wife Betty. Thomas was preceded by his parents, wife and daughter, Kathy Lucas.
