Anna Josephine (Schmidt) Sieburg of Whitewright, Texas, passed away December 30, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 1, 1922 in Chicago, Illinois to Joseph Schmidt and Anna (Loch) Schmidt.

Anna was a business woman and successful restaurant owner. She loved creating delicious meals and German Strudel.To her children she was a nurturer-someone who would always be there to listen. To her husband she was always loving and supportive. She loved her Indianapolis Colts, great adventure books, lots of chocolate, and black jelly beans. But most of all, she loved her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Goldthwaite and husband George of Whitewright, Texas; daughter, Patricia Perry of Lowell, Indiana; grandsons, Craig Goldthwaite and wife Jennifer of Grand Prairie, Texas; George Goldthwaite of Destin, Florida, Matt Goldthwaite and wife Brirttney of Destin, Florida, Philip James of Bloomington, Indiana, Michael James and wife Angela of Merrillville, Indiana, and Chris James of Miami, Florida; great granddaughter, Morgan Goldthwaite of Grand Prairie, Texas; great grandson, Adler James of Merrillville, Indiana; and sister, Lorraine Basile of New Mexico.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Anna Schmidt; sisters, Katherine Meszaros, Barbara Krieter, Mary Shoup, and Lee Ball.
