November 14, 1921 –  January 22, 2010 Annie D. Young, 88 year old Savoy resident, passed away Friday, January 22, 2010 at Mullican Care Center in Savoy. Services for Annie will be Sunday at 2:00 P.M. at Savoy Church of Christ with visitation on Saturday, 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Mullican-Little Funeral Home. Officiating will be Mr. Charles Wrenn and Mr. Wayne Johnson. Interment will follow at Carson Cemetery, Ector, Texas.Mrs. Young was born on November 14, 1921 in Spencerville, Oklahoma, daughter of Ocie Deaton and Mary Ann Davis Deaton. Annie attended school in Rattan, Oklahoma, was a Homemaker and formerly worked at Bonham Manufacturing Co., she was an active member of the Savoy Church of Christ.
Annie is survived by her three sons: Doug and wife Gwyn Young of Ambrose, Larry and wife Cheryl Young of Savoy, Roger and wife Pat Young of Winnsboro; two daughters: Cledith and husband Joe Ray of Paris, Pat and husband Larry Lankford of Grandberry; sister, Delana Adair of Prosser, WA.; 14 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Plez to whom she was married for over 60 years; great grandson, Nathan Ray; three sisters and four brothers.
