Patsy Irene Martin Jones was born August 31, 1944 to Atticus G. Martin and Nelly L. Flowers (Martin). She passed away on October 21, 2021 in Denison, Texas.
Patsy grew up and attended school in Bells, Texas. Patsy was a 1975 graduate of Grayson County College in Denison, Texas. She has resided in Denison since 1967. She retired from Trailblazer as a Medicare Claims Clerk.
Patsy was a devoted wife, proud mother, sassy aunt, and the very best Mimi! She enjoyed life to the fullest. She loved camping, hunting, cooking, mud racing, horse racing, car races and loved her jewelry (bling)! But, of all of these things her favorite was spending time with her family. Her great grandchildren were her absolute greatest joy! May her love and devotion to each of us remain with us and our future generations. May she always be the glue that keeps us together and the anchor that keeps us all grounded as one.
Left here to honor her memory are her husband, Jimmy Jones of the home; brother, Larry Martin (ElDonna) of Burleson; children, Machele Bates (Scott) of Pottsboro, Susan Langford (Eddie) of Stringtown, Oklahoma, Larry Neff, Jr. (Tina) of Denison, and Rene Hayes (Jerry Bob) of Beaumont; grandchildren, Tatum Giarraputo (Ben), Meredith Bates (B.J.), Erin Masters (Chad), Amber Short (Brian), James Stanley III, Kaylynn Langford, Sean Langford (Michelle), A.J. Langford (Danielle), Christopher McInnis (Leighann), Atticus Neff (Taylor), Teri Marshall (Mike), and John Willoughby; 15 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. Preceded in death by her parents; 3 sisters, Loretta Killough of Denison, Gladys Caffey of Blanchard, Louisiana, and Carolydn Dick of Blanchard, Louisiana; and 2 brothers, Roy Martin and Alvin Martin both of Bells.
Funeral Services will be held 11am Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Mullican-Little Chapel, Bells, Texas. A visitation will be held 6-8pm Monday, October 25, 2021 at Mullican-Little Chapel.
Patsy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She was a great role model as what we should be to our families. Not to mention her being a sister and aunt. That’s a lot of family in her life but she truly had enough love to give to everyone. And she made everyone feel special.
Patsy, you will be missed by so many but your love lives on in each and every heart.
Machele, My heart breaks for you and you’re family. Praying for all.
