August 29, 1928 –  May 21, 2012 Weldon was the beloved husband of Jean Wagner Garner for over 62 years, raising their three children and residing in the Cherry Mound area. He attended Savoy Schools prior to starting his career in the feed industry, working for Purina Mills, Webbs Farm Supply, Buck’s Farm Supply as well as a salesman for the former Kimball Feed Mill in Durant, OK. He starated Garner’s Feed and Seed in Sherman along with his son in 1986. After retiring in 1989 he enjoyed spending time with his wife camping, fishing, being outdoors and going to garage sales and auctions. he could do anything, especially when working with his hands. He also loved being with his family and friends, and never met a stranger. He touched the live of many people with his smile and generosity, and maintained his trademark sense of humor to the end.
