Allene Vergie Hanna, age 94, of Bells, Texas, passed away January 24, 2018. Allene was born November 20, 1923 in Grayson County Texas, to Daniel Clinton Freeman and Birdie Emmaline (Jones) Freeman.
She was an avid gardener, and had a large garden with a wide variety of vegetables. Allene loved her family, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and six sets of five generations of great-great grandchildren. She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church in Bells, and was known for her kindness and willingness to help people.

Allene is survived by her daughter Delores A. Stanley of Bells, Texas; grandsons, Troy Stanley and wife Merica of Pottsboro, Texas, and Eddie Stanley of Sherman, Texas; granddaughters Carla Trail and husband David of Durant, Oklahoma, and Kristy Glidewell and husband Garth of Bells, Texas; seventeen great grandchildren, thirty-five great-great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of seventy-five years, Lee Hanna; granddaughter Sherry Morton; grandson Rickey Trail; sisters, Thelma Ellison, Billie Gordon, and Irene McGehee; and brother Eugene Freeman.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Hebron Baptist Church in Bells, Texas. Officiating the service will be Russell Clemons and John Arnold. Pallbearers will be Matt Trail, Dylan Trail, David Perry, Eddie Stanley, Cody Adair and Clay Atchley. Honorary Pallbearers will be Garth Glidewell and Kolby Windon. Burial will follow at Hebron Cemetery, Bells, Texas. Visitation will be held Friday, January 26, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Mullican-Little Funeral Home in Bells, Texas.
