Caroldyn Jean Dick, age 82, of Shreveport, Louisiana, passed away January 6, 2018. Caroldyn was born April 15, 1935, in Bells, Texas, to Atticus Gregory and Nellie Lee (Flowers) Martin. She married James F. Dick on June 19, 1952, in Denison, Texas. Caroldyn worked as a customer service manager in retail for a number of years. She enjoyed quilting, traveling, and bunco. Most importantly, she enjoyed her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Jeffery Dick and wife, Myrtle of North Pole, Alaska, Gregory Alan Dick and wife, Cheryl of Fairbanks, Alaska, Rhonda J. Royals and husband, Mike of Moultrie, Georgia, Steven P. Dick and Mark Dick and wife, Reneé, all of Fairbanks, and James M. Dick and wife, Manuella of Neuenburg, Germany; grandchildren, Amy Chadwick and husband, Dave of Watertown, New York, Carol Jacoby and husband, Chris of North Pole, Alaska, Paul Dick and wife, Carina, Lisa Sturdevant, and Katie Sanders and husband, Ben, all of Fairbanks, Michael J. Tyler of Westcliffe, Colorado, William T. Pritchett of Lamar, Colorado, Theresa Wilson and husband, Tony of Winder, Georgia, Opie Maines and wife, Jessica of Sherman, Texas, Ryan L. Dick and wife, Robin of Fairbanks, James D. Dick and wife, Mandy of Denison, Texas, and Delia C. Dick of Neuenburg; nineteen great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; brother, Larry W. Martin and wife, El Donna of Burleson, Texas; and sister, Patsy R. Jones and husband, Jimmy of Denison, Texas; along with numerous nephews and nieces in the North Texas area.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Dick; son, Ronald J. Dick; grandsons, Jason Dick and Michael T. Dick; her parents; brothers, Alvin Martin and Roy A. Martin; and sisters, Lorita Killough and Gladys M. Caffey.

Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 13, 2018, at Mullican-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Bells, Texas. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Bells. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00- 8:00 p.m., Friday evening at the funeral home.
